Parent Network launches first Bi-Lingual Advertising Campaign

(October 2009)

Parent Network has partnered with Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) recently to launch a bi-lingual advertising campaign throughout Erie and Niagara Counties. The advertising campaign highlights Parent Network's Information and Referral Services.

"Many of the families we serve often use public transportation as a means to move about the city, " says Kimberly Bowman, Development Manger. "Our goal of this campaign is to reach families in a non-traditional way and to hopefully reach out to those families who may not be aware that our Information and Referral Service 'hotline' is available to them."

The campaign will be featured on the interior of 50 buses which routes run throughout metro Buffalo, nothern Erie County, and lower portion of Niagara County. Parent Network has also purchased advertisng space on 2 outdoor bus shelters in the City of Buffalo-one located downtown near the main bus terminal, the other located on the corner of Fillmore and Broadway.

10 of the inteterior bus advertisments have been translated in Spanish.
