Building Futures: The Growing Success of Our Pre-Employment Transition Services

By October 29, 2025No Comments

The Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) initiative has seen exciting growth this school year, marking a significant milestone in our efforts to support students with disabilities in preparing for life after high school.

Last year, we worked with a total of 20 students across Lancaster and Clarence school districts. This year, that number has nearly doubled to 35 students—a testament to the value and impact of the program. Both Lancaster and Clarence have added an additional Pre-ETS class, allowing us to reach more students while continuing to support those who participated last year.

This expansion reflects the strong collaboration between schools and Parent Network, as well as the increasing recognition of how essential transition services are for student success. By building on last year’s foundation, we’re able to offer continuity, deeper engagement, and more personalized support for returning students, while welcoming new participants into a program that’s already making a difference.

We’re proud of the progress and excited for what’s ahead as we continue to empower students with the skills, confidence, and experiences they need to thrive in their future careers and communities.
