    What is Cultural Competence? This OPWDD's approved curriculum will provide Medicaid Service Coordinators and Habilitation providers with an understanding of cultural competence as it relates to working with the individuals they serve. MSC’s will gain knowledge on why cultural competence is important to the provision of services, strategies on how to become more culturally competent and how to put it into practice.

    Monthly Notes: Participants will learn the reasons why MSC Monthly notes are so important while also learning the minimum standards for quality and billing.  This workshop will answer frequently asked questions and provide tips and examples of high quality MSC monthly notes.  This workshop is for MSCs who are just learning the minimum standards as well as those who want to write more effective, high quality notes.
