Parent Network of WNY offers free family & caregiver groups that provide a welcoming environment for parents and other caregivers of young people with autism or developmental disabilities to meet, share experiences, ask questions, learn about available resources and receive support.

Before attending a meeting for the first time, please complete the online enrollment form and or call 716/332-4170 to register for the group.

Childcare enrollment (if available at your site):

If your group has childcare available, please use either the online enrollment OR downloadable PDF fillable form and email it to  info@parentnetworkwny.org at least a week before the meeting to make sure that they are able to take care of your child.

Allegany County Family Support Group – For Caregivers of Children with Developmental Disabilities
talking bubble graphicMeets once a month on Monday from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Alfred State Wellsville Campus Pioneer Student Union. This group is open to caregivers of young people with developmental disabilities. Childcare is available at this location with prior registration. Family & Caregiver – Buffalo Autism Group
puzzle pieces graphicThis group is in collaboration with The Children’s Guild Autism Center at Oishei Children’s Hospital. Meets once a month on Wednesdays from 6:30 – 8:30 pm at the Aspire Building in Cheektowaga.Childcare is available at this location with registration the Friday before the meeting. Family & Caregiver Group for Parents with Teenagers with Autism Spectrum Disorders

puzzle pieces graphicThis group is in collaboration with The Children’s Guild Autism Center at Oishei Children’s Hospital. All caregivers of teenagers with Autism Spectrum Disorders are welcome to attend, but the group is geared towards parents of teenagers who may be transitioning to higher education, employment and/or independent living. A group for teens with Asperger’s is available at the same time with prior registration. Meets once a month on Thursday from 6:00-7:30 pm at Wegman’s Café on Amherst St. in Buffalo. Family & Caregiver – Niagara Autism Group

Family & Caregiver Group – DDAWNY for Parents of Children with Developmental Disabilities
