Parent Network of WNY offers free support groups that provide a welcoming environment for parents and other caregivers of young people with autism or developmental disabilities to meet, share experiences, ask questions, learn about available resources and receive support.  Current groups are listed below.

Allegany County Family Support Group
Meets once a month on Monday from 5 – 7 pm at Alfred State Wellsville Campus Pioneer Student Union. This group is open to caregivers of young people with developmental disabilities. Childcare is available at this location with prior registration. Please download the flyer for more details on the group, childcare and dates of meetings.

Autism Parent Group – Buffalo
Meets once a month on Wednesdays from 6:30 – 8:30 pm at the Aspire Building in Cheektowaga. Please download the flyer for more details on the group and dates of meetings.

Support Group for Parents of Teenagers with Autism Spectrum Disorders – Buffalo
All caregivers of teenagers with Autism Spectrum Disorders are welcome to attend, but the group is geared towards parents of teenagers who may be transitioning to higher education, employment and/or independent living. A group for teens with Asperger’s will be available at the same time with prior registration. Meets once a month on Thursday at Wegman’s Café on Amherst St. in Buffalo. A light dinner will be served. Autism Support Group – Niagara
Meets once a month on Mondays from 6:30 – 8:30 pm at the Empower Children’s Academy. Childcare is available at this location with prior registration. Please download the flyer for more details on the group, childcare and dates of meetings.

Upcoming Support Groups
