Lizarelis Ali

Family Support Specialist

Lizarelis has worked for Parent Network since 2017. She currently has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and is currently continuing her education through a Graduate studies program. Her goal is to increase relationships with organizations that will allow more families to reduce barriers in service delivery. Lizarelis facilitates a Spanish speaking support group focused on cultural and linguistic barriers individuals with disabilities face on a daily basis.


Susan Barlow

Executive Director

Susan has worked with Parent Network since 2001 and was instrumental in restarting the agency during a critical time period. In 2007, Susan became the Executive Director and is a large component of the agency’s success. Currently Susan is on the board of the Developmental Disability Alliance of Western New York and NYS Families Together. She is also a member of the Buffalo Schools Transition Committee and Special Education Parent Advisory Committee.


Nancy Campbell

Business Support Manager

Nancy joined the team in 2014. She is an advocate for her son who has special needs. Nancy’s administrative background and ability to connect with other families and parents of children with special needs, has made Parent Network Nancy’s home away from home.


Cynthia Clark

Professional Development Specialist

Cyndi has been part of the team since 2019. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and Special Education and a Master’s Degree in Special Education. Cyndi has had a long and successful career working with students with special needs as a teacher, a Section 504 Coordinator, a CSE and CPSE Chairperson, a Manifestation Determination Chairperson, and a Special Education Quality Control Coordinator. She has the honor of being included in “Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers”.


Bonnie Doyle

Family Support Specialist

Bonnie has been a part of the team since the summer of 2021. She has completed various trainings such as the training to become a Family Peer Advocate in order to become more educated and resourceful for not only Parent Network’s families but also her daughter who has special needs.

Theresa Drum

Grant & Quality Assurance Manager

Theresa joined Parent Network in 2002. Theresa is an active member of the Family Advisory Councils at Oishei Children’s and Buffalo General Hospital. She is also a member, and former Chairperson, of the State Rehabilitation Council of the New York State Commission for the Blind. She also sits on the board of the WNY Epilepsy Association. In 2019, Theresa was awarded the Excellence in Healthcare Award from Business First.


Lyn Haggerty

Family Engagement Manager

Lyn has been with the team since 2012. She conducts trainings, works as a NYSED contract Early Childhood Resource and Referral Specialist, and supervises intake. Lyn is Alliance on Information and Referral Systems certified and volunteers with Gliding Stars Adaptive Ice Skating. As a parent of a child with special needs, Lyn is knowledgeable about special education from both the parent and professional point of view.


Nicole Hall

Eligibility Navigator

Nicole has been a part of the team since 2021. She has an extensive background working as a social worker and care coordinator. Nicole has a master’s degree in social work and has had the pleasure of working with various agencies like Parent Network where she has been able to expand her knowledge and expertise while helping individuals with disabilities. 


Kim Hernandez

Family Support Specialist

Kim has been a part of the team since 2014. Kim works extremely hard to help families who need assistance with school support, housing, links to community resources, mental health support, advocacy, and much more. Kim is passionate for learning all there is to know about the disability world so she can now use her personal experience and professional knowledge to help families.


Ann Kinney

Early Childhood Development Specialist

Ann has been a part of the team since the summer of 2021. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology health and human services with a specialization in childhood education and has also earned a master’s degree in early childhood education. Ann wants to help parents become advocates for themselves and their children.


Destiny Lopez

Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Destiny joined Parent Network during the summer of 2021. She currently has a bachelor of arts in broadcasting and mass communications with a concentration in graphic design. Destiny has a goal to obtain her master’s degree in design management.


Julissa Montanez

Administrative Assistant

Julissa has been with Parent Network since 2016. She works alongside the Community Engagement Manager in the training and outreach department. With her expertise and knowledge, Julissa does data entry and Spanish translation. Julissa is grateful that she can learn valuable and important information and various skills that have been helpful for her son.


Kristi Moscato

Community Engagement Manager

Kristi joined the team in 2012. She is a member of: Local Early Intervention Coordinating Council, Sweethome Family Support Center Leadership, Person Centered Services Family and Individual Community Advisory Board, Informed Consent Committee with Person Centered Services, Family Advisory Council at Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, and Family Support Services Council through the Office for Persons with Developmental Disabilities. Kristi is certified as a Sexuality Advocator and as a Native American Family Specialist. 


Gary Pochatko

Business Manager

Gary has been with Parent Network since 2007. He focuses on monitoring financial transactions, reviewing contracts, handling the yearly audit, and assisting the Executive Director with any needs. Gary is also a proud firefighter.


Erin Reisdorf

Family Support Specialist

Erin has been a apart of the team since early 2021. Erin is certified in motivational interviewing and the pyramid model. She was a child welfare social worker for thirteen years. Through her own advocacy for her son, Erin discovered her passion for working with children with disabilities and their families so that she can educate and empower them. 


Toddie Rogers

Outreach Specialist

Toddie has been working with Parent Network since 2016. Toddie participates in the City of Buffalo Clean Sweeps every summer, is actively involved with Buffalo Public Schools, and supports communities inside and outside of the city. She is passionate about gaining knowledge that will help her family and she strives to pass that knowledge to other families in need.


David Scherff

Marketing Specialist

David has been a part of the team since 2006. David posts Parent Network’s events on various websites and sends email event announcements to approximately 240 different outlets in Western New York. As a father of 3 children with developmental disabilities, he finds it rewarding to serve the disability community, even through tough life circumstances. 


Debbie Schutt

FSS Behavior Intervention Coordinator

Debbie joined Parent Network in 2018. Debbie holds a Master of Science in Psychology. She has been working with youth and families in Western New York for over 15 years. Debbie has knowledge and experience working with the Office of People with Developmental Disabilities, Department of Social Services, and the Office of Mental Health.


Glenn Tanner


Glenn took his role of the business and financial side of Parent Network in 2014. He focuses on oversight of banking and cash management, collecting and receiving, payroll, and support and research. Glenn also assists the agency with human resources.

Theresa Veprek

Family Support & Education Programs Manager

Theresa joined Parent Network in 2018. Theresa holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, a Master of Science in Education, and holds a New York State Professional Teaching Certificate and a Certification in Special Education. Theresa advocates to ensure that systems and services are responsive to the needs of families, communities, and people with all kinds of disabilities.


Tonia Weichmann

Transition Coordinator

Tonia has been with Parent Network since 2014. She previously worked at Amherst High School and Summit Educational, where she helped to develop a vocational program at Erie 1 BOCES. After going to college for communications, Tonia discovered her true calling and passion for helping children with disabilities and their families, which has led her to have a very successful career working with individuals with disabilities.


Jennifer Zolnowski

Business Office Assistant

Jennifer has been a apart of the team since the summer of 2021. She has a master’s degree in human resources management and a background in business. As a parent of a child with a disability, Jennifer’s true passion is for supporting other parents. Jennifer currently serves as the board secretary for GiGi’s Playhouse Buffalo and was a part of the startup committee which first brought GiGi’s to Buffalo. She is also a volunteer with DanceAbility.
