Executive Director

Opportunity Overview:
The Executive Director will provide leadership and vision, articulate and promote the organization’s mission, develop sufficient resources for the financial health of the agency, and position the agency to meet the needs of parents, clients and community.

What Is Required:

  • College degree, preferably a Masters in Business Administration, Social Work, Psychology or related field and five years of senior management experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in the same fields with seven years of senior management experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector
  • Experience and skill working with a Board of Directors
  • Demonstrates a passion for, and commitment to, Parent Network’s mission
  • Integrity, transparent leadership and adherence to ethical and professional standards
  • Strong leadership, communication, fundraising and decision-making skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to encourage teamwork and a collaborative approach within the organization and within the community

What You Will Do
As Executive Director you will:

  • Provide leadership in the development and implementation of agency strategic direction, and assesses the environment for current trends and opportunities
  • Utilize best practices in fiscal oversight and operations
  • Attend, plan and execute Board meetings in collaboration with the Board Chairperson
  • Provide oversight of Parent Network’s fundraising and marketing efforts
  • Serve as Parent Network’s primary spokesperson and ‘face’ of the organization
  • Develop constructive relationships with community leaders including elected officials, civic and private organizations and other agency Executives
  • Develop, execute and evaluate collaborative initiatives
  • Advocate for policies that improve the lives of the people we serve
  • Review and recommend the creation of new programs, or restructuring and elimination of existing programs
  • Ensure the recruitment and training of a strong workforce committed to the agency mission
  • Model and practice sensitivity, fair treatment and acceptance of diversity in all interactions

The salary for this position will be up to $87,000 depending on relevant experience. Parent Network also offers a competitive benefits package. The anticipated start date is June 2022.
